THE SOCIAL GRIND.

so he figures that he should just tell the world that he can’t do it anymore, you know, going out, shaking hands, ha… doing the social grind. he can’t do it anymore because he just finds nothing long lasting about it. it’s so short lasting that it doesn’t even carry over into the next morning. this is why he spends most nights at home. it’s not because he doesn’t want to be around his “friends,” it’s just because he doesn’t really know who his friends are to begin with. he feels as close with his desk lamp as he does with his best friends, maybe even closer. his desk lamp at least sheds some light into his life now and then.
